Yoga and Spirituality at Kirkridge

Laurice D. Nemetz , MA, ADTR, E-RYT, LCAT
Sept. 26th-28th,2008
Program $150+Room/Board $175
For thousands of years Yoga has been a structure of philosophy and physical practice. As such, it can be complementary to ones own religious background. In this workshop we will explore Yoga as asana (physical postures), meditation, and philosophy as it applies to Christianity and other religions. We will explore the transformative power of the body/mind/spirit connection and the principles practiced to encourage peace in the body and the greater world. A bibliography will be provided before the retreat to enhance our discussion.
Laurice D. Nemetz, MA, ADTR, E-RYT, LCAT, works as a yoga teacher and dance/movement therapist in Westchester County in New York.
