Come and listen to the music of this talented singer-songwriter and peace activist. Allow her music to open your heart and re-enchant your spirit. Join in community singing, movement and reflection as we consider music that strengthens and sustains us.  There will be old songs from the labor, peace and civil rights movements, and new, singable songs for today.  There will be songs from around the world, songs of justice and peace, songs of hope and longing, and songs full of fun and celebration. No previous singing experience necessary --- and you won’t be singing all by yourself! This is music for building the movement.

 Sara Thomsen is a peace activist an award-winning singer-songwriter, performer and recording artist. At conferences, jails, places of prayer and protests, her ability to get people singing magically transforms gatherings into communities empowered with possibility. Increasing wonder and awareness, deepening spiritual connection, and widening social engagement through song is at the heart of her work.  Her performance style is easygoing and full of humor.
 Sara is a Winner of the Minnesota Folk Festival New Folk Songwriting Contest and a Top Finalist in the national Music To Life Songwriting Contest produced by Paul Stookey of "Peter, Paul and Mary."
Her latest release, 'Everything Changes,' is a personal record that magnetically pulls you in." She is artistic director of the vocal trio "Three Altos" and founder-artistic director of "The Echoes of Peace Choir, a 75+ member non-audition community choir with a repertoire of world music.
