Something new on the mountain!
Holistic Retreat at Kirkridge
Give yourself and a friend a weekend of self-renewal at Kirkridge Retreat Center, May 21-23, 2010. Choose from a variety of holistic activities emphasizing body, mind and spirit. Come, relax and enjoy healthy gourmet cuisine prepared by our chefs at Kirkridge. Greet your good mornings with a session of Dahn HakYoga, the universal energy of life. Discover some amazing edible plants on a guided nature walk with Laura Greenspan. Enjoy a healthy and simple cooking demonstration by our in-house dietitian Karen Fisher. Detoxify the toxins in your body naturally while you sleep. Relax creatively with flower meditation decorating that will also lower your blood pressure, presented by Alice Murray. Be energized with a session of Qigong, an ancient healing exercise form, led by Nancy Scheirer. Also included is one 10-minute chair massage or Reflexology. We will end our retreat with a labyrinth introduction and meditative walk.
Entertainment: Betsy Baker-Smith will provide dinner music by playing the harp for us Friday night. Saturday night a popular swing band, the Haute Dawg, will play for us.
Each day you have some free time. Be spiritually rejuvenated by taking a hike around our breathtaking property. You may choose to use that time to pamper yourself with one or more of our holistic services including chair massage and Reiki healing by Shelly Kelly, or choose relaxing Reflexology by Mariellyn Kish. Cash payment is due at time of service for chair massage, Reiki and Reflexology. $10.00 per 10-minute service after your one time that was included.
Make your reservations now by calling 610-588-1793. Space is limited. Total program cost is $335 per person for Friday night to Sunday afternoon. Feel free to come early to get to know Kirkridge, any time after 3pm Friday. Programming starts at dinner 6:30pm. Bring a friend and you get 10% off purchases in our bookstore gift shop, the Booknest.
